Virtues Material

Virtues are the timeless human qualities that help us live together in harmony — cooperation, honesty, courage, compassion, and more. In the Montessori classroom, work with virtues is part of Grace and Courtesy and the child’s journey toward building a self-regulating community.

This Virtues Material supports children in naming, recognising, exploring, and practicing virtues consciously, not only by imitating adults, but by reflecting, discussing, and applying them in daily life. It strengthens empathy, moral reasoning, and the child’s sense of responsibility to the group and the wider world.
